Guest Ratings & Reviews
For the cost of a breakfast, what I expected for £245 a night, the hotel was stuffy and warm, making it difficult to sleep due to lots of shouting from surrounding rooms. Service was really good, with exceptional staff. The central location, ideal for the free water taxi to The Armouries, was perfect for our needs. The dining experience, though attended to promptly, had some issues with the fare quality. The facilities were satisfactory overall.
My stay at the hotel was mixed. The room with a bath was adequately nice and quiet, meeting our needs, but sadly, the lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortably warm through the night, affecting our sleep. The hotel's location was ideal for attending a rugby match and exploring the city center, although some areas needed a good scrub. Overall, the service was attentive and pleasant, ensuring a comfortable stay.
The hotel has a great location, being very central and close to transport links. The rooms are big, nice, and clean, but the temperature control and lighting could be improved. The service was friendly, though some issues with charges were encountered. Overall, it offers excellent value for money.
Our stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the rooms had some issues with noise from surrounding rooms and poor soundproofing, we appreciated being able to keep our bikes in the room. The black marks on the walls were a bit off-putting, but the generous shower gel made up for it. The service was top-notch with friendly and efficient reception staff, although there was a minor inconvenience with an alarm going off. The location was convenient, just a short walk to the City Centre with ample shopping opportunities. As for dining, the full cooked breakfast was satisfying compared to other options in the area. The facilities were decent overall, providing a comfortable stay for the price paid.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was excellent for exploring the city center, but the cleanliness left much to be desired. The service was outstanding with staff going above and beyond to assist, although the noise from music late into the night was a drawback.
The hotel offered us many standard features in the rooms, such as a safe, coffee and tea making facilities, telephone, and some cool gadgets like the personalized TV welcome message. The rooms were loving, homely, and very clean, creating a wonderful stay. While the room price was a bit high, the overall value was good.
